💕 Coloring patterns was always a bit of a challenge for me. I would spend hours trying to find the right colors to fit my pattern. The majority of my patterns would be placed on a tan background because it was the only color that “looked good” and that I felt comfortable with.
💕 Through a lot of research and trial and error, I was able to
create color palettes for my patterns that expanded beyond the tan background. I was so excited to finally find a method that worked for me that I wanted to share it with other designers to help them gain more confidence and have fun using a variety of colors in their work.
